Welcome to my world.

Who am I? Let's see...I am a mother of three wonderful kids, ages 2,3, and 8, who drive me crazy and fill my heart with joy at the same time. A soon to be wife, with a fiancée who drives me more crazy then my children do. We have ups and downs, and just like everyone else, when things are good they're good, and when they're bad, they're well, bad. I am obsessed with reality TV, and Facebook. I eat entirely too many carbs, and think that by drinking excessive amounts of water that I no longer need the gym. I enjoy a good book, or a scary movie, and obsess slightly over Justin Beiber, or Edward Cullen, but most importantly, I love my family, and have learned to embrace the life I have made for myself.

I never pretend that life is perfect because we all know it's not. We all fight about stupid things, and laugh about even stupider things, we all make bad decisions at times, and theres nothing wrong with it. Just the other day I decided I was going to go food shopping with an empty stomach! I ending up spending 50 dollars more than I usually would have! HAHA. In all seriousness though, everyone makes mistakes, fights about money, and wonders about the "what if's."

I have people in my life who try and make it seem like they have it all, when in reality they're only hanging on by a thread. I never quite understood them. Why make everyone think you're perfect? What do you get out of it? Not my respect. Not my admiration. Not my jealousy, either. Who would, HONESTLY, want to be in a perfect world? How would you better yourself if everything went the way it was supposed to? I feel that mistakes add character, that every time you do something wrong, you have the ability to fix it, therefore making you a better person.

With that being said, I also believe you reap what you sow.  If you're not going to put any effort in to being the person you want to be, you'll never achieve your dreams. You have to work for what you want, and if you don't, then you have no right to complain. If you're not happy with your job, quit and find one you love. If you're not getting the reaction that you want from a possible suitor, move on to the next one. If you burn a batch of cookies you were really looking forward to eating, throw them away and bake some new ones.

People spend too much time dwelling on the bad things in life, myself included at times. Isn't it so much easier to think about the good things, the simple things in life? Take my children for example: As I am writing this they are watching Dora the Freakin Explorer. I personally can't stand the show, and would rather have blood taken, then hear the phrase "Swiper, no swiping!" one more time, but my kids love it, and as I look over my shoulder at this very moment, my daughter is jumping on the couch singing "BACKPACK,BACKPACK!" and my son is standing in front of the TV bouncing up and down to the music. I choose to think about how happy the show makes them, instead of how unhappy it makes me. :)

Ugh, I'm rambling now, so I'll stop. My fiancée is in Maine for the next couple of days, so I will probably be writing a lot, so if you're interested in my life, or just bored, check back often!
